About Us
Prayas Securities Private Limited , a member of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) operates on both in the Cash as well as Future & Option (F&O) segments of the exchange.
The Company was incorporated with the main object of carrying on the business of broking, with specific emphasis on retail clients. Accordingly, the Company acquired a membership on the cash segment of the National Stock Exchange and commenced its business operations. The Company has client base of over 1000 Individual and Corporate clients. The Company caters to a wide range of high net worth and retail clientele.
The Company has subsequently acquired the membership of F & O segment of the NSE.
In order to cater wide spectrum of shares Company acquired Equity Stake in M/s. Sovereign Securities Private Limited( SSPL), Member of Bombay Stock Exchange. SSPL has been doing institutional business for a long time and it is already on the panel of all leading Financial Institution and has been doing business for them.
In the very first year of operation in a span of just 10 months the Company had achieved a total turnover of Rs 36.51 billion in Cash segment & in F&O segment .While for the year ended 31st March, 2005 we have achieved turnover of Rs.52.34 billion-a growth of 43 %. The networth of the company is over Rs 60 million as on 31st March 2005.

Currently, the Company is focusing on expanding its reach by setting up branches at various cities across India. The Company has already made a beginning by setting up branches at Aurangabad, Akola, Amravati, Delhi, Jodhpur, Punjab and Surat and at several locations in Mumbai. The Company is in the process of identifying other prominent business locations in Mumbai as well as in other cities across India.
